Susan is a Certified Professional Geologist with over fifteen years of Alaskan experience providing geologic and geotechnical services throughout Alaska’s communities and remote areas. Her experience includes management of multiple disciplinary teams; planning and management of geologic reconnaissance and site-specific borehole investigations meeting rigorous health, safety, and environment goals; site suitability and selection; route evaluation and selection; permafrost geomorphology; climate-change related impact assessment; geologic mapping and terrain analysis; material site identification and evaluation; and site-specific geotechnical investigations for roads, bridges, railroads, airports, buildings, water and sewer lines, pipeline, communication towers, and transmission lines. She has worked with community and project representatives throughout the State of Alaska and is experienced in coordinating specific logistic challenges of working in arctic and sub-arctic conditions in remote locations and within communities. She has provided geologic services for infrastructure development for Oil and Gas Companies across Northern Alaska.
